About
Born in Naples, Gemma Matrone moved to Berlin in 2024 and completed her Master in New Media Design at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences.
Her practice bridges the digital and the physical, merging visuals and sound into narratives that explore identity, social dynamics and the unconscious. Working in TouchDesigner, she builds generative, audio-reactive worlds — performed live and projected into space.
Her multidisciplinary approach combines visual communication, hybrid media design, generative art and creative thinking — moving fluidly between audiovisual art for the techno scene and design for brands and screen.
